High Court gives nod to Vengaboys show

hyderabad: justice g raghuram of the ap high court late on tuesday suspended the order of the police cancelling permission granted earlier for the conduct of the vengaboys show. admitting a writ petition, filed by event managers dna network and local hosts treasure island, challenging the decision of the police authorities, the judge, however, directed the government to depute a police official to visit the show and empowered him to stop the same if there was vulgarity.directing the government to video graph the show, he also directed that security arrangements be extended for the show at the expense of the petitioners. the judge also directed the police authorities to consider grant of permission in view of its observation. it is reported that the application has been made and the vengaboys will stage their show on wednesday.
